The St Cuthbert’s Way is one of Scotland’s great walking trails covering 100km of beautiful and varied countryside. The route begins in Melrose and starts with a climb up the Eildon Hills from where there are stunning views across the Tweed valley to the north and the English border to the south.

The route finishes at Holy Island on the east coast and the St Cuthbert’s Way website suggests splitting the route into several shorter sections making it possible to cover the whole trail over the course of a week.

Eildon Melrose Holiday Cottages and Log Cabins are perfectly located for a walking holiday on the St Cuthbert’s Way. Experience the stunning views from our secluded location just outside Melrose, whilst still enjoying the convenience of taking a short walk in to the beautiful market square and historic town centre. There are incredible views at every turn and beautifully appointed accommodation to help you make the most of a wonderful holiday in the Scottish Borders.

The St Cuthbert’s Way passes around 400 meters away from our holiday accommodation so you will have easy access to the route. For large groups it is possible to take multiple properties as they are all on the same site and we can help set up larger tables for indoor or outdoor dining together.
